The hedgehogs have got off to a great start, jumping up from #729 in the overall chart to #172 and currently sitting at #38 in the Prime Reading chart.

I’m hoping they’ll scamper higher but it’s a difficult to call. I’ve only had one Prime deal before and it was a very different scenario. When New Beginnings at Seaside Blooms was in Prime Reading last May, it had only been released a couple of months earlier and was already in the Top 100 at that point so it soon reached #14 and loitered in the Top 100 for several months. Finding Love at Hedgehog Hollow came out seven months ago and had already peaked in the Top 100 over summer. It had much further to climb when it moved into Prime and, having sold well already, it may not have the same impact on the chart. But here’s hoping. Early days yet!
